This gathering is probably the oldest and longest consistent Dhikr gathering in the UK.
Hadrat Sufi Sahib (ra) began this circle of Dhikr in 1962 and it has continued each Saturday ever since. These gatherings have transformed the lives of thousands of people.
Currently these gatherings are led by Qibla Junaid Sahib every Saturday at 8pm at Ghamkol Sharif UK.
2Monthly Ghiyari Sharif
Since Hadhrat Sufi Abdullah Khan Sahib (ra) arrived in the UK, a monthly Ghiyarvi Sharif; a khatm dedicated to the sultan of Awliya, Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani (ra) as per the teachings and customs of Hadhrat ZindaPir Sahib (ra) takes place.
Each month a gathering of Quran, Salawaat, sharing food, and lectures on virtue and teachings have been organised to gain the blessings of the awliya while educating the community.
For each event, external catering has never been used. Food has always been prepared by mureeds fo Ghamkol Sharif in the state of Wudhu and Dhikr.
3Annual Grand Mawlid & Urs of the Naqshbandi Khawajghaan
In following the religious tradition of our predecessors, we hold annual events for the Grand Mawlid and Urs of our Khawajghaan.
These gatherings of shukr and sending rewards to our predecessors take place over a weekend and include recitations of Quran, Naat, Lectures and sharing food.
Sunday begins with the historical and iconic procession through the local community-announcing the Oneness of Allah and the Messenger-ship of His Beloved (peace be upon him)- and ends with the Khatm Khawajghaan and the main dua for the Ummah.
4Dalail ul Khayrat
Dalail ul Khayrat has an integral part of tasawuf and particularly the Naqshbandi Silsila.
These gatherings are by the permission of Hadhrat Sufi Sahib (ra) and Haaj Ismail Filali Baba. Currently, a group recital of Asma an Nabi (peace be upon him) is read every Monday at 8pm at the Maqaam of Hadhrat Sufi Sahib (ra).
Khidma projects of Ghamkol Sharif UK
Hadhrat Sufi Sahib’s (ra) entire life demonstrated the two things he always taught;
He initiated and oversaw many projects throughout his 52 years in the community. These Khidma projects of Ghamkol Sharif UK are established on the ethos of love, live and give.
LOVE: A firm faith with a selfless love, care and concern of Allah, His Messenger (peace be upon him) and His creation.
LIVE: A life of complete submission to Allah which always strives to love and honour His Messenger (peace be upon him) and a learning and application of the blessed Shari’ah.
GIVE: This is a fundamental element of Tasawuf. To give as one received. To humble oneself and strive in the service of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him). To indiscriminately work in fulfilling the needs of the creation.
